What are the details of the Odie Pet Insurance and Petivity powered by Purina partnership?
Odie Pet Insurance, an innovative, tech-forward provider of pet insurance and wellness coverage, has collaborated with Nestlé Purina PetCare, a global leader in pet care, aimed at revolutionizing how pet insurance evaluates risk and supports preventative care.
As part of this partnership, Odie will offer direct reimbursements within its Wellness Plans for Petivity Smart Devices and Microbiome Analysis Kits, as well as Petivity recommended food, supplements, and other nutritional items from Purina.
What is Petivity Powered by Purina?
Petivity powered by Purina is an ecosystem that seamlessly combines technology, pet health data, and Purina’s pet expertise to empower pet parents to proactively manage their pets’ health through smart devices, health kits, and an AI-powered assistant.
Petivity’s product line currently includes the following items:
Smart Litter Box Monitor
The Petivity Smart Litter Box Monitor system transforms data about your cat’s weight and litter box activity into meaningful insights about their well-being. Petivity alerts you when it notices changes that may indicate a health condition requiring veterinary diagnosis, so you can seek care earlier.
Petivity Microbiome Analysis Kit

And understanding their unique gut profile can help you provide proactive care like never before. That’s why Purina scientists developed the Petivity Microbiome Analysis Kit. This innovative and scientifically supported solution checks your pet’s gut health and provides personalized food and supplement recommendations. Whether you have specific concerns or simply want to learn more, this test offers you the confidence and peace of mind that you’re giving your pet the best care possible so they can live their best life.
Will the cost of my Wellness Plan change?
Your monthly Wellness Plan cost will remain the same and these added benefits are included at no extra charge, offering even more value at the same low rate.
Which Petivity products are included?
A list of Petivity and Purina items that are eligible for reimbursement with the Odie Wellness Plan can be found on the Odie-Approved Petivity and Purina Formulary.
Do these extra benefits have any affect on my Odie pet insurance policy?
Your Illness & Injury pet insurance policy, if you have one, remains unchanged. These are additional benefits we’re adding to the Wellness Plan.
What are the maximum annual reimbursements I can receive from the Petivity partnership?
Wellness Plan members are always eligible for the following reimbursements:

How do I submit for reimbursement?
The reimbursement process is simple. Submit your claims through the Odie customer portal by navigating to the claims section, completing the form, and uploading your invoice and Petivity Analysis Report.
What is the claims reimbursement process?
After your claim is processed and approved, you’ll receive an email notification from Odie asking you to log into your member portal to select your payment method. We offer reimbursement by paper check or ACH bank deposit, and you should expect to receive payment within 5–7 business days. Note that you must select a payment method for each individual claim.
