Odie Pet Insurance Launches a New Wellness Plan

Introducing Odie’s New Wellness Plan

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Odie’s New Wellness Plan, available to pet parents with or without a traditional accident & illness policy.

This plan is designed to help pet parents stay on top of routine and preventative health needs. From annual check-ups to vaccines, dental cleanings, parasite prevention, and more, the Wellness Plan provides reimbursement for the care you’re already providing to keep your pet healthy before an illness or injury occurs.

What’s Covered Under The Wellness Plan?

The Odie Wellness Plan is a reimbursement-based wellness program for a wide range of services. The plan includes reimbursements $600 annually, with $150 towards each of the following categories:

• Routine wellness exam & vaccines: Exams and vaccines like Rabies, Bordatella, DHPP, FVRCP, Lyme.
• Testing and parasite prevention: Flea, tick, and heartworm medication, fecal testing, FIV/FELV testing, and heartworm testing.
• Dental Care: Dental cleanings, brushing, scaling, polishing, and approved Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) home products.
• Vitamins and Supplements: Vitamins, AAFCO-approved supplements, shampoos, acupuncture, and chiropractic care.

With the Odie Wellness Plan, there’s no waiting period, no deductible, and reimbursements are straightforward. Plan members can submit their receipt as a claim in their Member Portal, and Odie will reimburse them for eligible services.

A Smarter Wellness Experience In Partnership with Petivity

To make this launch even more exciting, we’re proud to announce a new partnership with Petivity, powered by Purina, a leader in smart pet products and proactive care.

Through this partnership, Odie Wellness Plan members can receive reimbursements for Petivity products and eligible Purina food and supplements. This adds an additional $100 in potential reimbursements ($50 per item), bringing the total plan value to $700. 

• Petivity devices and kits: Provides reimbursement for eligible wellness-related kits and devices manufactured by Petivity and listed on the Odie-Approved Petivity and Purina Formulary.
• Purina Food and Supplements:  Provides reimbursement for food and supplement products manufactured by Purina and listed on the Odie-Approved Petivity and Purina Formulary. 

Together, Odie and Petivity are empowering pet parents with both financial tools and innovative technology to take proactive steps toward better health outcomes for cats and dogs.
