ODIE PET INSURANCE
Important Notice for ManyPets US Customers Transitioning to Odie Pet Insurance
Odie Pet Insurance: Your New Program Manager as of January 1, 2025
We are excited to welcome ManyPets US customers to Odie Pet Insurance!
As of January 1, 2025, Odie is the new program manager for ManyPets US policies. Below are important details about this transition.
Key Information About the Transition
- ManyPets has and will continue to email customers with important updates regarding the switch. Please check your inbox for their communications.
- The renewal switch is automatic BUT voluntary. If you do not want to renew with Odie, you must:
-
- Call ManyPets to inform them that you wish to cancel your policy.
- Email Odie at support@odiepetinsurance.com to request non-renewal.
- Please allow 7 business days for processing. If your renewal effective date falls within this timeframe, you may be charged. However, we will process your non-renewal and issue a refund as soon as we complete your request.
What You Can Expect with Odie
- Same Carrier, Same Coverage:
- Odie is working with Accredited Surety and Casualty, the same insurance carrier ManyPets used, to ensure continuity of coverage for customers who renew with us.
- Any illness or injury that developed after your original ManyPets policy began, and was covered under that policy, will continue to be covered under your renewal with Odie.
- Same Rates as ManyPets:
- Premiums are based on the rates ManyPets previously filed with regulators, combined with your pet’s age at renewal. Rates are the same as they would have been if ManyPets still administered your policy.
- If you are concerned about a rate increase, please email us at support@odiepetinsurance.com, and our team is happy to help find a cost-effective plan for you and your pet!
- Continuous Coverage: If you accept your renewal with Odie, your coverage will remain uninterrupted.
Important Information About Pre-Existing Conditions
- Conditions that existed before your original ManyPets policy began are considered pre-existing and cannot be covered under your renewal.
- Odie is required to apply these rules consistently so that all members are treated fairly and in line with the terms of their policy.
Medical Records
- To ensure your pet’s coverage details are accurate and that claims can be processed quickly, Odie will request your pet’s full medical history from you at the time of your first claim.
- You can upload these records to your member portal at any time. Doing so helps us review and process your claims faster.
Current Processing Times/Delays
- High Volume of Inquiries:
We are currently experiencing a high volume of emails and phone calls. Our team is working diligently to respond as quickly as possible. Current response times are:
-
📞 Call backs: within 2–3 business days
-
📧 Email replies: within 4–5 business days
We’re actively improving our workflows to return to our typical 1–2 business day response times soon.
-
- Claims Processing: Claims are reviewed in the order received. Please allow up to 15 days after we receive your medical records. We truly appreciate your patience as we work to process every claim with care.
We appreciate your understanding and are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for all ManyPets customers. For more information about the partnership and FAQs, click here.
